It prevents impermissible high overpresssure.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>O<\/strong>ver<strong>P<\/strong>ressure <strong>S<\/strong>hut <strong>O<\/strong>ff (OPSO), former name: safety shut-off valve (SAV), is usually integrated in the fitting. It <strong>protects connected consumer equipment<\/strong> from inadmissible high pressure. If the maximum permissible value is exceeded, a bolt releases the spindle (see video). The gas flow is blocked.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Overview thanks to visual indicator<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can see whether the safety device has responded by the visual indicator. In normal mode, it is set to green.
