It prevents impermissible high overpresssure.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>O<\/strong>ver<strong>P<\/strong>ressure <strong>S<\/strong>hut <strong>O<\/strong>ff (OPSO), former name: safety shut-off valve (SAV), is usually integrated in the fitting. It <strong>protects connected consumer equipment<\/strong> from inadmissible high pressure.
